Sparkleberry Ponies at Crying Coyote Farm expands on 30 acres in Dade City, Florida

For more than 25 years, Crying Coyote Farm (CCF) has been breeding, training, showing and sharing top quality sport horses and ponies. Founded by Meredith and Todd van Benthuysen in Iowa, CCF quickly expanded to facilities in Texas and then Florida and now includes a childrens riding academy and breeding services.
With the birth of their grandchildren, Meredith's interest in breeding and showing ponies grew and the farm acquired the champion Welsh Pony stallions, Cherubs Casanova and *Llanarth Royalty. Wanting the next generation to develop a love for equine and equestrian activites, Meredith offically designated Sparkleberry Ponies at Crying Coyote Farm as the annex for all CCF pony related activities. Located on the corner of Sparkleberry Lane and Bailey Hill Road, in Dade City, Florida, Sparkleberry focuses exclusively on developing ponies and educating children!
Now breeding sport horses and ponies in Florida, CCF was excited to provide a home-base to accomplished equine veterinarian Cynthia Daniels with Daniels and Daniels Equine Services. Operating a general practice but specializing in equine reproduction, Dr. Daniels is an invaluable resource for CCF and its clients.
Her expertise and guidance ensure the health of all of our horses and ponies and provide postive model to children of the importance of proper health care in animal ownership.
Serene and secluded, Sparkleberry Ponies at CCF is a true working farm with greenspace, animals, trails, farm equipment, veterinary activities and more! Children are exposed to the daily agriculture operations and general farm work while they enjoy interaction with ponies in a natural, rural environment.
